David Manson
SENIOR CONSULTANT
David has built a 35 year career in banking with commitment to client experience, and colleague development, at its core. He worked for almost 20 years overseas, leading teams in Asia and the Middle East including successive CEO roles with Standard Chartered in Vietnam, Australia and Jordan.
His product expertise lies in Transaction Banking, having headed the global RBS/ABN International Cash Management portfolio and subsequently the Barclays Corporate Liquidity Management group. In the past decade he has served as CEO in the UK for both Qatar National Bank and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank; and held committee positions with the Association of Foreign Banks.
David’s career covers a spectrum of start-up, acquisition, merger and scale-down environments, including working under (inherited) regulatory enforcement. These experiences commanded a highly varied series of management techniques in working closely with regulators, team members and customers to deliver optimal outcomes.
David holds a BA in Geography from Jesus College, Oxford and is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.
